DR JARRED GARFINKLE est un fellow de recherche dans le laboratoire de Dr. Steven Miller à «Hospital for Sick Children», et il complète une maîtrise dans l’Institut des sciences médicales à l’Université de Toronto. Il débutera en juillet comme chercheur-clinicien à l’Hôpital de Montréal pour enfants (HME) du Centre universitaire de santé McGill (CUSM). Sa recherche se concentre sur la santé cérébrale du prématuré, plus spécifiquement sur l’impact du travail prématuré et des adversités survenant dans les soins intensifs néonatals sur le développement du cerveau.
DR JARRED GARFINKLE is a Research Fellow in Dr. Steven Miller’s lab at The Hospital for Sick Children and completing an MSc in the Institute of Medical Science at the University of Toronto. He will be starting as a clinician-investigator at the Montreal Children's Hospital (MCH) - McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) in July in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. His research focus is on preterm brain health, and specifically how the antecedents of preterm delivery and the adversities in the neonatal intensive care unit impact brain development.
